About the role
Lead site-level implementation of SC Johnson's Safety, Health and Environmental programs ensuring compliance and risk management in chemical manufacturing. Drive continuous improvement and operational SHE ownership through technical leadership and engagement.
What you’ll do
• Lead site compliance with Nigerian SHE legislation and permits. • Drive implementation and improvement of SCJ global SHE Standards. • Lead process safety for aerosol and high-hazard chemical operations. • Coordinate risk assessments and implement risk reduction measures. • Lead SHE audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related. • Minimum 5 years SHE experience in manufacturing, preferably chemical or FMCG. • Knowledge of Nigerian SHE regulatory compliance and reporting. • Experience with SHE management systems and process safety management. • Ability to influence teams and drive SHE ownership on shop-floor.
