About the role
Lead the Finance & Audit Committee to support the Board in financial stewardship, audit, risk management, and compliance. Provide independent oversight and challenge to ensure governance and accountability aligned with the organisation's mission.
What you’ll do
• Chair Finance & Audit Committee and serve as Trustee. • Ensure effective financial reporting and risk oversight. • Review budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. • Oversee internal controls, fraud prevention, and compliance. • Maintain relationships with auditors and senior management.
What you’ll bring
• Experience in financial governance and audit oversight. • Strong understanding of charity governance and regulation. • Ability to provide constructive challenge and independent judgement. • Experience at Finance Director, CFO or equivalent level. • Work authorization for Nigeria.
