About the role
Provide accurate coding for outpatient medical records remotely. Support healthcare data accuracy and compliance with coding standards.
What you’ll do
• Review medical records and assign accurate diagnosis codes. • Assign and sequence codes based on documentation. • Maintain 95% coding and APC assignment accuracy. • Communicate coding issues and documentation improvements. • Track continuing education credits and attend trainings.
What you’ll bring
• AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials required. • 2+ years hospital or coding consulting experience. • Proficiency in outpatient coding specialties. • Strong communication and remote work skills. • US work authorization, no sponsorship available.
