Community Engagement Specialist

About the role
Build trust and participation among community members and local structures to ensure project acceptance and responsiveness. Facilitate community engagement activities and support beneficiary identification.
What you’ll do
• Conduct community entry, sensitisation and mobilisation meetings. • Support beneficiary identification and verification. • Document community meetings and submit weekly reports. • Ensure inclusion of vulnerable groups in decisions. • Map community structures and facilitate needs assessments.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in related field. • Experience working in Borno State, Dikwa preferred. • At least 3 years in community mobilisation or AAP. • Fluency in English and Kanuri or Hausa. • Willingness to be based in Dikwa and travel locally.
