About the role
Maintain and engineer Firefox's Graphics area including rendering, compositing, images, canvas, and WebGL. Ensure graphics code health and support senior engineers by handling routine maintenance.
What you’ll do
• Own day-to-day Graphics maintenance and bug fixes. • Diagnose and fix graphics problems across platforms. • Carry code review and routine upkeep. • Keep backlog and regressions down. • Support senior engineers to focus on performance.
What you’ll bring
• Strong C++ and/or Rust skills. • Knowledge of graphics frameworks and GPU architecture. • Strong debugging and optimization in multithreaded codebase. • Able to work independently and lead technically. • Work authorization for Canada.
