About the role
The Controller ensures accuracy and timeliness of accounting records and financial reporting to support Ascension's mission. This role manages general ledger, monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
What you’ll do
• Manage monthly and annual accounting close processes. • Maintain accuracy of general ledger and account classifications. • Prepare and review financial statements and schedules. • Manage royalty accounting and banking operations. • Apply and monitor accounting policies and internal controls.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. • 10+ years progressive accounting experience. • Experience preparing financial statements and applying GAAP. • CPA designation preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred.
