About the role
Labcorp seeks a Cytogenetics Technologist to perform technical procedures and testing remotely. The role involves specimen evaluation, troubleshooting, and reporting accurate test results to support patient care.
What you’ll do
• Determine specimen acceptability for testing. • Perform routine and complex technical procedures. • Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation. • Prepare and evaluate new reagents or controls. • Report accurate and timely test results.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s in Chemical/Biological science or Medical Technology. • 1+ year experience in Cytogenetics analysis. • ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG). • Work authorization for United States. • Ability to pass standardized color blindness test.
