About the role
Build and maintain NG-SIEM detection rules for managed detection and response. Develop AI-powered tooling to enhance detection speed and fidelity.
What you’ll do
• Perform threat research and hunting using intelligence-driven approach. • Develop and deploy high fidelity SIEM detection rules. • Conduct code reviews and testing before deployment. • Leverage CI/CD best practices for detection deployment. • Collaborate on data parsing and normalization best practices.
What you’ll bring
• 3+ years in detection or security engineering roles. • Knowledge of cyber threats and SIEM technologies. • Relevant industry certifications like GCFA, GCIH. • Experience with SIEM solutions such as Splunk, QRadar. • Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
