About the role
The Drilling Engineer plans and designs well trajectories, performs technical analyses, and supports drilling operations to optimize well performance and safety.
What you’ll do
• Design well trajectories based on reservoir targets and constraints. • Perform directional well planning and uncertainty calculations. • Conduct anti-collision and hydraulic simulations. • Provide technical support and recommendations to drilling department. • Prepare and validate directional drilling reports and data.
What you’ll bring
• 5-10 years onshore/in-house drilling engineering experience. • University degree in Engineering or related field. • Familiarity with DOX, DrillPlan, Perform Toolkit Pro software. • Experience with Compass, WellPlan, WellArchitect, JewelSuite. • Must be Nigerian National.
