About the role
Responsible for design, engineering, and support of tooling for solid rocket motor manufacturing. Manage tooling projects to meet cost and schedule requirements.
What you’ll do
• Manage tooling projects and coordinate design and fabrication. • Support manufacturing team to meet quality and delivery goals. • Develop tooling concepts and improve manufacturing processes. • Deliver detailed tooling design documentation and perform inspections. • Support continuous improvement and tooling system implementations.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent. • 10-15 years tool design experience in solid rocket operations. • Knowledge of casting, curing, and cutting solid propellant tooling. • Proficiency with CAD software and GD&T principles. • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. DoD security clearance.
