About the role
Manage insurance pre-certifications and authorizations for complex outpatient hospital services. Coordinate with physicians and payers to ensure service approvals before procedures.
What you’ll do
• Contact insurance for pre-certification and pre-authorization. • Obtain approvals before scheduled complex services. • Liaise with physicians and office staff for info. • Notify payers of admittance if required. • Work Monday to Friday 9:30am – 6:00pm.
What you’ll bring
• High school diploma or GED required. • 3 years revenue cycle or healthcare experience. • Experience in healthcare revenue cycle required. • Preferred bachelor’s degree and medical coder training. • Work authorization for United States.
