About the role
The Fraud Analyst protects Jumia from fraud loss and chargebacks by identifying and analyzing fraudulent transactions and enforcing risk processes. The role collaborates with Customer Service and Finance teams on risk-related matters.
What you’ll do
• Identify and analyze potentially fraudulent transactions. • Track and report fraud and chargeback trends. • Manage credit card chargeback process for Visa and Mastercard. • Carry out KYC document verification for Jumia Pay customers. • Work closely with Customer Service and Finance on risk topics.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related field. • Good understanding of payment systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks.
