About the role
Build and maintain Stripe's shared design system Helm to deliver consistent web experiences. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create accessible, performant React components.
What you’ll do
• Design and build accessible React components for stripe.com. • Collaborate with designers and engineers on component behavior and APIs. • Maintain design–code parity through testing and documentation. • Guide teams on using and extending the design system. • Improve adoption through guidance and tooling.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years frontend or design engineering experience. • Experience with production design systems or shared component libraries. • Proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. • Experience with AI-assisted development tools. • Strong visual and interaction design judgment. • Work authorization required.
