About the role
Lead system-level Functional Safety engineering activities for next-generation vehicles. Collaborate with OEMs, integrators, and suppliers to ensure ISO 26262 compliance.
What you’ll do
• Define system context, safety requirements, and boundaries. • Develop and review functional safety work products. • Perform and review safety analyses like FMEA, FTA, FMEDA. • Define and maintain safety verification and validation strategies. • Support integration, verification, and validation activities.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s or master’s in Engineering or related field. • 10+ years in systems engineering or automotive functional safety. • Strong expertise in ISO 26262 Parts 4, 5, and 6. • Experience with safety analyses and safety work products. • Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen work authorization.
