About the role
Support a 3-month project to protect vulnerable populations and promote gender equality in Dikwa LGA, Borno State. Prevent sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment in humanitarian settings.
What you’ll do
• Carry out gender and protection risk assessments. • Maintain referral pathways and link with protection sub-sectors. • Train staff on Code of Conduct and safeguarding. • Run confidential reporting channels for safeguarding concerns. • Monitor sites for protection risks and refer survivors.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Gender Studies or related field. • At least 3 years in gender, protection or safeguarding roles. • Experience with case referral and survivor-centred approaches. • Fluency in English and Kanuri or Hausa. • Work authorization for Nigeria.
