About the role
The Information Security Engineer conducts vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and supports SOC operations to enhance enterprise security. They combine offensive and defensive security skills to provide risk-based recommendations.
What you’ll do
• Conduct end-to-end VAPT across applications and network infrastructure. • Perform vulnerability scanning, validation, and remediation tracking. • Support SOC operations with SIEM monitoring and incident investigation. • Develop and tune SIEM detection use cases and correlation rules. • Collaborate with teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen controls.
What you’ll bring
• 5-6+ years experience in VAPT, SOC, SIEM, network and endpoint security. • Experience with Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Kali Linux. • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API security, SAST/DAST. • Experience with SIEM tools like CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk. • Work authorization for Nigeria.
