About the role
Lead the design and implementation of global infrastructure as code for Ubuntu devices. Improve cloud infrastructure reliability and scalability at Canonical.
What you’ll do
• Define and implement world class internal cloud vision. • Maintain technical roadmap for SREs to improve reliability. • Collaborate with cloud-ops teams on roadmap and prioritization. • Lead technical choices for scalable self-service solutions. • Automate operations for distributed systems reuse.
What you’ll bring
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent technical experience. • Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts and operations. • Practical Linux networking and large scale bandwidth networking. • Experience with production outages and incident response. • Fluent English communication and open-source passion.
