About the role
Join the infrastructure team to design, build, and operate backend infrastructure for developer services. Improve performance, reliability, and efficiency of Expo's cloud foundation and Linux fleet.
What you’ll do
• Work alongside a senior engineer on infrastructure team. • Design, build, and operate backend infrastructure. • Build improvements for faster, cheaper, easier service management. • Write efficient software and own uptime and performance. • Add tests, monitoring, and join on-call rotation.
What you’ll bring
• Curious about Linux, containers, and small services. • Experience building real end-to-end projects. • Comfortable with virtual machines and containers. • Cloud experience with Google Cloud or similar. • Knowledge of OS, networks, databases, distributed systems.
