About the role
Review, analyze, and code hospital inpatient medical records using ICD-9-CM and ICD-10 coding systems. Primary responsibility is inpatient coding.
What you’ll do
• Review and analyze hospital inpatient medical records. • Select and sequence appropriate ICD-9-CM diagnosis codes. • Select and sequence ICD-9-CM procedure codes. • Use ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes as applicable. • Primary responsibility is inpatient coding.
What you’ll bring
• H.S. Diploma or GED required. • 1 year hospital coding experience required. • RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-A, or CPC-H certification required. • Coding certificate program (AHIMA accredited) preferred. • Work authorization for United States.
