About the role
Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for GitLab's data platform. Support reporting, data science, and AI self-service with reliable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions.
What you’ll do
• Build and maintain ELT pipelines from enterprise applications and internal systems. • Manage infrastructure including Snowflake, Fivetran, Airflow, Kubernetes. • Write maintainable, tested Python and SQL code. • Operate platform: resolve pipeline failures and infrastructure issues. • Partner with analytics and business teams for data readiness.
What you’ll bring
• Experience shipping production data pipelines in Python. • Strong SQL skills and cloud data warehouse experience. • Experience with ELT/ETL pipelines at scale. • Familiarity with Airflow, dbt, and data modeling fundamentals. • Comfort with Git workflows, CI/CD, code review, and AI coding tools.
