About the role
Engineer with deep knowledge of Linux technologies to support and develop Linux-based systems for SpaceX engineering teams. Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and resilient Linux infrastructure.
What you’ll do
• Gather requirements and design Linux-based software platforms. • Manage and support Linux systems and tools. • Implement improvements using change control methodology. • Design and deliver creative solutions with internal teams. • Participate in on-call rotation for critical systems support.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years systems engineering experience. • Experience with Linux servers in physical and virtual environments. • U.S. citizenship or authorized to work under ITAR regulations. • Strong communication skills. • Experience with scripting and automation preferred.
