About the role
Design mechanical architecture for next-generation UAV platforms from concept to production. Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure robust, cost-effective airframes.
What you’ll do
• Own mechanical design of major UAV assemblies and payloads. • Optimize designs for high-rate production. • Apply parametric modeling and tolerance analysis. • Drive material selection and manufacturing processes. • Collaborate with Stress, Flight Test, and Systems teams.
What you’ll bring
• Experience in mechanical design for aerospace or autonomous systems. • Proven track record from concept to production. • High proficiency in SolidWorks. • Knowledge of composites, 3D printing, CNC machining. • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC).
