About the role
Design and develop precision tooling and procedures for the ATLAS ITk Pixel Outer System. Participate in integration, installation, and testing of detector components.
What you’ll do
• Design precision tooling for ITk Pixel Outer System integration. • Develop service installation procedures and tooling. • Verify component designs with calculations. • Document and implement integration tools and procedures. • Participate in detector integration and installation.
What you’ll bring
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. • Experience designing precision mechanical components and tools. • Proficiency in CAD software, Catia V5 a plus. • Experience producing 2D technical drawings per standards. • Work authorization from CERN Member or Associate States.
