About the role
Design and analyze mechanical components for defense and space technology systems. Develop actuator designs, perform stress and thermal analysis, and contribute to solid rocket motor systems.
What you’ll do
• Apply fundamental design principles and solve complex design challenges. • Create intricate 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings. • Perform simulations and structural, thermal, and tolerance analyses. • Analyze materials and manufacturing processes. • Communicate technical information effectively.
What you’ll bring
• 4 to 7 years mechanical engineering experience. • Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent. • Able to travel 10% of the time. • Must obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance. • U.S. Citizenship required.
