About the role
Design and develop manufacturing equipment and automation systems for Starlink production. Optimize equipment performance and support high-volume manufacturing.
What you’ll do
• Own manufacturing subsystems from design to production ramp. • Develop design criteria and collaborate cross-functionally. • Perform FMEA, reliability modeling, and stress testing. • Design production equipment and automation systems. • Monitor equipment performance and implement maintenance strategies.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related engineering. • 1+ years mechanical design or manufacturing experience. • 1+ years experience with CAD and FEA software. • Willingness to travel ~25% to SpaceX sites/vendors. • Must meet U.S. ITAR work authorization requirements.
