About the role
Join Loft Orbital as a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to design and develop satellite hardware. Gain hands-on experience from concept to prototyping on real mechanical engineering projects.
What you’ll do
• Translate project needs into mechanical requirements. • Develop 3D CAD models for satellite hardware. • Perform structural analysis and design validation. • Create engineering drawings with dimensions and tolerances. • Support prototyping and manufacturing processes.
What you’ll bring
• Pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. • Experience with CAD / 3D modeling. • Foundational mechanical design and analysis knowledge. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Work authorization for internship in the US.
