About the role
Manage and operate a risk-based Model Risk Management program for Mercury as it scales and prepares for regulation. Conduct model validations, challenge assumptions, and collaborate across teams to ensure safe and effective model use.
What you’ll do
• Perform independent validations of internal and third-party models. • Evaluate model methodology, assumptions, and performance. • Provide constructive challenges to model developers and users. • Maintain accurate model inventory and monitoring plans. • Support regulatory examinations and assurance activities.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years in model validation or quantitative risk analytics. • Bachelor's in related field; advanced degree preferred. • Strong knowledge of model risk management and regulations. • Experience with SQL and Python for data analytics. • Work authorization for Canada or USA.
