About the role
Contribute to a music and audio technology project by listening to recordings and documenting audible details. Later phases include grading AI model answers against actual audio.
What you’ll do
• Listen to 30–90 second field recordings and annotate instruments, tempo, key, and background sounds. • Compare paired recordings of the same song from different locations. • Review AI model descriptions and mark accuracy with explanations. • Attend paid onboarding and weekly sync sessions.
What you’ll bring
• 3+ years of hands-on music or audio experience. • Strong analytical listening to identify instruments in noisy mixes. • Identify tempo within a few BPM and musical key with reference. • Comfortable with detail-oriented annotation work on a web platform. • Clear written English for brief, evidence-based notes. • Quality headphones, quiet workspace, reliable internet.
