Nutrition Assistant

About the role
Support nutrition interventions to reduce malnutrition in vulnerable communities. Assist with screenings, referrals, awareness, and follow-up for malnourished individuals.
What you’ll do
• Conduct MUAC screenings to identify malnourished children and women. • Refer acute malnutrition cases to health/nutrition facilities. • Follow up on referred cases to ensure care and recovery. • Conduct community sensitization on nutrition topics. • Support behavior change communication activities.
What you’ll bring
• Diploma or certificate in Nutrition, Nursing, or related field. • 1-2 years experience in community nutrition or health programs. • Experience with MUAC screenings and community nutrition. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Basic computer literacy and ability to work in rural areas.
