Process Design Engineer

About the role
Perform design activities to deliver projects ensuring technical integrity and lead cross-disciplinary design activities. Work closely with other functions to complete projects safely, timely, cost effectively, and with desired quality.
What you’ll do
• Support projects with costs from $50k to $2.5MM. • Lead development of Piping & Instrument Diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams. • Complete design calculations for equipment and piping. • Participate in Process Hazard Analysis and model reviews. • Oversee 3rd party engineering partners and engage stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. • Support projects at biodiesel facilities with 25%-50% travel. • Chevron cannot sponsor employment Visas. • Experience with chemical processes and equipment preferred. • More than 2 years in oil & gas complex process facilities preferred.
