About the role
Develop, optimize, qualify, and implement advanced IC assembly processes focused on Gold-to-Gold Interconnect and flip-chip bonding. Work from prototype through production ramp collaborating with multiple teams and suppliers.
What you’ll do
• Develop and qualify GGI and flip-chip processes. • Optimize vacuum mold lamination and encapsulation. • Support wafer/die handling and inspection. • Specify and qualify assembly equipment. • Run DOEs, capability studies, and write process documentation.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's in engineering or materials science. • 2+ years semiconductor assembly experience. • Onsite in Bastrop, TX. • Up to 20% travel for supplier support. • U.S. work authorization per ITAR requirements.
