About the role
Lead process engineering for a uranium mining project including design, optimization, and contractor oversight. Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective process design and support commissioning and ramp-up.
What you’ll do
• Perform and review process engineering for ore transportation and processing. • Contribute to process design basis and criteria using testwork results. • Review process deliverables like P&IDs and flow diagrams. • Support pilot test execution and interpretation. • Participate in HAZID and HAZOP studies focusing on radiological hazards.
What you’ll bring
• Engineering degree in Chemical, Process or Metallurgical Engineering. • 8+ years in mining process engineering including hydrometallurgical plants. • Knowledge of uranium hydrometallurgical processes. • Ability to use process simulation software like METSIM or SysCAD. • Work authorization for Namibia.
