About the role
Lead community-based nutrition activities in Bungudu LGA, including screening, referral, follow-up, and counselling. Coordinate with partners and track progress against targets.
What you’ll do
• Plan and supervise recruitment and training of Community Nutrition Mobilizers. • Ensure correct MUAC and oedema screening procedures. • Oversee referral of malnutrition cases to appropriate centres. • Coordinate follow-up and tracing of discharged children and defaulters. • Deliver and supervise IYCF counselling and WASH kit distribution.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree or HND in Nutrition, Public Health, Nursing or related field. • 5 years community nutrition experience including 2 years supervising volunteers. • Knowledge of Nigeria's CMAM and IYCF guidelines. • Experience with MUAC screening, referral, and defaulter tracing. • Work authorization for Nigeria.
