About the role
Perform thermal and structural simulations of engine and electrical generator systems to optimize performance and safety.
What you’ll do
• Use CFD tools to optimize engine thermal management systems. • Model piping system restrictions to confirm performance targets. • Evaluate safety and performance using structural simulation tools. • Prepare CAD geometry for simulations. • Perform experimental measurements for validation.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering from ABET accredited institution. • Experience with commercial CAD tools and large assemblies. • Two years relevant experience including graduate school. • Ability to apply knowledge in real-world environments. • Work authorization for United States.
