About the role
Help Canadian provincial and municipal governments and post-secondary institutions modernize software development using GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform. Manage strategic accounts and navigate complex procurement cycles.
What you’ll do
• Build and execute account plans for public sector modernization. • Navigate complex procurement and contracting processes. • Act as primary contact for strategic public sector prospects. • Own book of business from pipeline to close and expansion. • Collaborate with engineering, customer success, and partners.
What you’ll bring
• Experience selling technology to governments and higher education. • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and CI/CD automation. • Understanding of public sector procurement and compliance. • Consultative sales approach aligned with public sector missions. • Ability to manage major accounts independently. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
