Risk Adjustment Medical Record Coder-2

About the role
Support accurate coding by reviewing medical records to identify active conditions for risk adjustment. Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance within the Risk Adjustment & Quality Division.
What you’ll do
• Maintain compliance with CMS risk adjustment coding guidelines. • Perform first-pass reviews of medical records and physician assessments. • Assist with intake and quality assurance of medical records. • Participate in special projects as directed. • ICD-10 coding assessment required.
What you’ll bring
• Associates degree or 2 years equivalent experience. • 1 year progressive medical coding and healthcare experience. • Professional coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC. • Must acquire Certified Risk Adjustment Coder certificate within one year. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
