About the role
Manage safety engineering for a uranium mining project ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Oversee safety studies and support safety verification during construction and commissioning.
What you’ll do
• Manage safety engineering including process, chemical, radiological, fire and occupational safety. • Define safety design basis and ensure implementation. • Organize and facilitate HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and other safety studies. • Perform or review risk assessments and define safety critical elements. • Review engineering deliverables for safety compliance.
What you’ll bring
• Engineering degree in Chemical, Process, Safety or Mechanical Engineering. • Over 10 years experience in safety or process safety engineering. • Professional proficiency in French and English. • Valid driver’s license. • Work authorization for Namibia.
