About the role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will improve reliability and automation for engineering teams' workflows. You will build systems that help detect problems early and reduce friction in shipping software.
What you’ll do
• Own and evolve core Development Health systems. • Improve reliability and maintainability of automation. • Partner with managers to identify workflow pain points. • Use data to prioritize improvements. • Mentor intermediate engineers and review code.
What you’ll bring
• Experience owning production backend systems end to end. • Strong proficiency in Ruby or ability to learn quickly. • Experience maintaining legacy codebases safely. • Comfortable with CI/CD systems and APIs. • Work authorization for hiring country.
