About the role
Provide legal advice and support on employment law, litigation, and student-related issues. Manage complex legal matters independently and support university leadership.
What you’ll do
• Advise university leadership on legal and regulatory matters. • Manage employment-related legal issues and litigation portfolio. • Oversee outside counsel and legal service providers. • Advise on student-related legal issues and escalations. • Leverage legal technology and mentor legal staff.
What you’ll bring
• Juris Doctorate from accredited Law School. • Active bar membership, preferably California or multi-state. • 5+ years relevant legal experience. • 3 years in-house Counsel experience preferred. • Work authorization for USA required.
