About the role
The Senior Development Test Engineer plans, executes, and analyzes tests to turn designs into flight-ready mechanisms. This role bridges engineering, manufacturing, and operations to validate hardware through various testing levels.
What you’ll do
• Translate requirements into test objectives and verification methods. • Own development and acceptance testing for flight mechanisms. • Design and build complex test stands with instrumentation. • Develop automated test software for control and data logging. • Maintain configuration control and test documentation.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or related field. • 5+ years testing mechanical or electromechanical hardware. • Experience with test instrumentation and sensors. • Ability to support extended hours, travel, and on-site operations. • Must meet U.S. Government security clearance and citizenship requirements.
