About the role
Lead development of context retrieval and search for Iterable Nova's AI layer. Build retrieval stacks and search subagents to improve customer interaction relevance.
What you’ll do
• Build retrieval across structured and unstructured data sources. • Develop semantic query understanding for agents. • Create pipelines for entity extraction and metadata freshness. • Build search subagents for multi-hop searches and quality checks. • Measure quality with ranking metrics and improve retrieval systems.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years MLE experience with production-scale models. • Master's or PhD in CS, ML, AI, or related field. • Expertise in lexical, dense, and hybrid retrieval. • Experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Vespa. • Work authorization for US.
