About the role
Lead philanthropic fundraising efforts focusing on major donors and foundations, primarily in the US and Latin America. Develop and implement donor engagement and stewardship strategies to secure significant multi-year gifts.
What you’ll do
• Build and manage pipeline of major donors and foundations. • Identify and qualify prospects through proactive outreach. • Lead donor engagement and solicitation meetings. • Develop tailored cultivation and stewardship strategies. • Coordinate with global teams and DNDi leadership.
What you’ll bring
• 12+ years in philanthropy or major-gift fundraising. • Proven track record securing six- and seven-figure gifts. • Experience fundraising in the US preferred. • Advanced degree or equivalent experience. • Fluency in English and professional proficiency in Portuguese.
