About the role
Own the backend usage billing pipeline product direction supporting monetization platform modernization. Enable teams to launch credit-consuming capabilities billable across GitLab platforms.
What you’ll do
• Own product direction for metering, aggregation, and rating in billing pipeline. • Make onboarding new credit-consuming capabilities repeatable. • Partner with product teams on metering and pricing usage. • Prioritize pipeline scalability, performance, and reliability. • Own billing defect detection and remediation.
What you’ll bring
• Experience owning consumption-based billing product direction. • Experience with Zuora or similar billing platform. • Knowledge of prepaid, commitment, or credit-drawdown pricing models. • Experience coordinating launches across multiple teams. • Clear written communication in remote asynchronous environment.
