About the role
Maintain and upgrade Python runtimes, dependencies, and tooling to support developer productivity. Ensure safe and reliable codebase migrations and compatibility.
What you’ll do
• Prepare Python 3.12 migration and runtime-change PRs. • Resolve dependency and build compatibility issues. • Validate migrations with tests and document evidence. • Improve migration scripts and static checks. • Address code review feedback and coordinate with owners.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years professional Python experience. • Strong knowledge of Python packaging and build tooling. • Experience upgrading Python runtimes and libraries. • Practical experience with linting and static analysis in CI/CD. • Strong testing and debugging skills. • Work authorization for Colombia or Costa Rica.
