Senior Security Engineer

About the role
Lead security infrastructure design and incident response to improve Roofr's security posture. Collaborate with engineering and DevOps to ensure secure-by-design practices.
What you’ll do
• Design and harden security infrastructure across cloud environments. • Lead vulnerability management and remediation SLAs. • Build and tune detection content for real attack techniques. • Act as incident commander for security incidents. • Own IAM hygiene and cloud security posture across AWS accounts.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience. • 5-8+ years in security engineering or incident response. • Strong network security fundamentals and AWS cloud security. • Experience with SIEM/SOAR tooling and detection logic. • Work authorization for Canada or remote work.
