About the role
Join the FT Core group to build and operate critical digital services for the Financial Times. Deliver innovative technical solutions and contribute to company-wide engineering processes.
What you’ll do
• Work with product managers and stakeholders from inception to deployment. • Design and implement scalable, secure, well monitored solutions. • Contribute to architecture, tooling and release cycle processes. • Provide operational support and maintain close customer relationships. • Promote good coding and engineering practices.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years building and maintaining distributed systems. • Proficient in Java and/or Go, preferably Java. • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. • Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
