About the role
Join Wise's Risk & Control Governance team to build governance, assurance, and data foundations for risk decisions. Ensure risk assessments are consistent, explainable, auditable, and continuously monitored.
What you’ll do
• Build data ownership, lineage, and quality monitoring systems. • Design continuous monitoring and validation systems for controls. • Implement audit trails and explainability tooling. • Design scalable, high-throughput solutions. • Integrate governance capabilities with Risk API platform.
What you’ll bring
• Proven backend engineering with Kafka, SQL, NoSQL. • Experience with data quality frameworks and lineage tracking. • Ability to reason about complex distributed systems. • Comfortable with autonomy and ownership. • Work authorization for UK.
