About the role
Lead machine identity and PKI standards across SRE, platform and product teams. Manage certificate authority design and post-quantum cryptography planning.
What you’ll do
• Build non-human identity register with owners and rotation dates. • Replace static credentials with short-lived workload identity. • Own PKI and lead certificate lifecycle management platform implementation. • Set machine secrets standards and partner with SRE on authentication. • Define AI agent identities with scoped access and kill switch.
What you’ll bring
• 10+ years in platform engineering or infrastructure security. • Hands-on PKI expertise including CA hierarchy and HSMs. • Experience with certificate lifecycle management platforms. • Production experience with HashiCorp Vault and PKI engine. • Ability to code in Go or Python and use Terraform. • Work authorization for AMER region.
