About the role
Lead machine identity and PKI engineering at Nscale, owning certificate authority design and standards. Manage identities for services, workloads, certificates, tokens, and AI agents with automation and security.
What you’ll do
• Build non-human identity register with owners and rotation dates. • Replace static credentials with short-lived workload identity. • Own PKI and lead certificate lifecycle management platform. • Set machine secrets standards with SRE team. • Plan post-quantum cryptography for certificates.
What you’ll bring
• 10+ years in platform engineering or infrastructure security. • Hands-on PKI experience with CA design and lifecycle management. • Experience with HashiCorp Vault and PKI engine. • Knowledge of cloud workload identity and OIDC federation. • Ability to code in Go or Python and use Terraform. • Work authorization for listed US locations.
