Senior Storage Engineer

About the role
Own and design the storage architecture for Runware's AI supercomputer, ensuring fast and reliable model data delivery to GPUs. Build and optimize storage systems across multiple continents and hardware pods.
What you’ll do
• Own end-to-end storage architecture for AI model distribution. • Design and build model distribution path and caching strategies. • Drive down model load latency and fix bottlenecks. • Select, benchmark, and operate storage systems on real hardware. • Set reliability targets and manage capacity planning and monitoring.
What you’ll bring
• 8+ years in storage or systems engineering with hardware scale experience. • Proven track record building storage systems from design to production. • Deep Linux storage expertise including file systems and block layer. • Experience with parallel/distributed file systems and petabyte-scale object storage. • Fluent in Go, Rust or C/C++ and Python; able to write tooling and automation. • Able to travel to US and Europe sites as needed.
